Palliative care is for individuals who live with a life-limiting illness, those who care for them, and those who are bereaved.  On our palliative care unit we provide care when curative treatment is no longer an option. Our holistic approach includes emotional, psycho-social and spiritual support.

Our goal is to offer pain and symptom management to your loved one to:

• Increase their comfort.
• Relieve their suffering.
• Improve their quality of life.

Our care team includes:

• Physicians.
• Nurses.
• Personal support workers.
• Social workers.
• Pharmacists.
• Speech language pathologists.
• Spiritual care.
• Palliative care specialist.
• Volunteers.
• Other care providers as needed.

Our facility includes:

• A garden room.
• A rooftop garden.
• A family kitchen.
• A quiet area.
• A children’s play area.

Families can visit their loved ones at any time and can stay overnight.  We also welcome pets.
