Become a Last Aid® Facilitator!
Facilitators are asked to commit to volunteering for a minimum of one year and lead a minimum of two courses per year.
Training cost: $200.00 CDN
To become a facilitator, individuals must complete the registration form below, pay a $200 training fee as part of the registration process, complete the virtual 4-hour training course, and abide by the CHPCA volunteer agreements. Facilitators receive a $50 honorarium for each completed course they lead.
Each Last Aid® course requires two facilitators: one clinical facilitator (a current or retired medical doctor or RN) and one facilitator with lived or allied health professional experience. Individuals will be asked in the registration form which role they are registering for. We recommend reviewing the Last Aid Facilitator Roles before completing a registration form.
*Training fee is non-refundable, if you cannot attend the training date you register for initially, you can request a transfer to a different date.
