Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association to host back-to-back health conferences in Ottawa
The CHPCA will be hosting two back-to-back conferences this coming week: The 5th International Public Health and Palliative Care Conference (IPHPCC) in partnership with Public Health and Palliative Care International, Pallium Canada and McMaster University, Family Medicince, Palliative Care Division, followed by the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Conference (CHPCC) in Ottawa, Ontario.

- Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Conference: September 20-23, 2017
- Mobilizing your Compassionate Community: Take 2: September 20 from 11:30 am-6:00 pm

About IPHPCC: With partners Public Health and Palliative Care International, Pallium Canada and McMaster University, Family Medicince, Palliative Care Division, CHPCA will host the three-day International Public Health & Palliative Care conference will be featuring a number of esteemed professional international speakers, abstract-driven workshops, oral presentations, and posters. It will also feature a Compassionate Communities Forum on Monday September 18 from 5:30-8:00 pm which is open to media.
About CHPCC: The CHPCC is the foremost national conference in Canada focusing on hospice palliative care. This year’s conference theme Expanding our Horizons: A Palliative Approach to Care, will provide doctors, nurses, pharmacists, hospice palliative care and other allied health care professionals the opportunity to share their experience and expertise on a national platform. This event will showcase many cutting-edge presentations and research outcomes. This year’s conference will include three plenary sessions, nine challenge panels, multiple satellite symposiums as well as guest speakers.
