The Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) financial support is derived from corporations, foundations, and private donations in to fulfill its mandate. A major component of its fund development efforts is sponsorship of special projects.
Examples of projects available for funding include:

- Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Conference
- Advance Care Planning (ACP)
- National Hospice Palliative Care Week and Campaign
- Development of the “Living with Dying, Dying at Home” Manual as a Home-based Hospice Palliative Care Resource
- International Hospice Palliative Care Initiatives
