Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC) achieves Canadian Compassionate Company (CCC) designation

Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA)’s Champion’s Council is pleased to announce Innovative Medicines Canada (IMC) has been designated a Canadian Compassionate Company (CCC). IMC’s commitment to supporting their employees through caring for seriously ill and injured loved ones has led to IMC achieving this laudable designation.

Canadian Compassionate Companies (CCC) is a designation for Canadian employers who support their employees who have taken on the vital role of caring for a seriously ill loved one. Employers have an important role to play in supporting their employees who have taken on this role, and the Champion’s Council is delighted that IMC meets the criteria.

Pamela Fralick, President of IMC expressed her pleasure upon receiving news of IMC’s designation as a CCC:  “This designation builds on Innovative Medicines Canada’s long and proud tradition as a progressive and compassionate employer. Our employees made this association the success it is today, and our CCC designation reflects IMC’s policy of supporting our people through all of life’s challenges.”

Russell Williams, Chair of CHPCA’s Champion’s Council “This shows great corporate leadership which is so important for employees, and helps us all respond to a real challenge in our communities. I am thrilled that Innovative Medicines Canada has achieved this designation and encourage other companies and associations to apply to become Canadian Compassionate Communities as well.”

Innovative Medicines Canada joins several other companies who have recently achieved this important designation, showing their leadership in human resources policy among their corporate Canada peers.  Information about Innovative Medicines Canada is available at their website innovativemedicines.ca.
