The Regional Palliative Care Program is based on the belief that quality end-of life care can be provided in a variety of settings. Specialized palliative care units and hospice settings exist for patients whose needs cannot be met at home or in hospital.
In the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), hospice beds are available at Grace Hospice and Jocelyn House.
