Support to people and families who are facing life threatening or terminal illness, and to those who are grieving.
Guidance, emotional support and assistance with pain and symptom management. In-hospital and community support is provided in partnership with VON Hospice Volunteer Program who offer caring companionship and respite. Focus on continuing education for nursing team to specialize in pain and symptom management and end-of-life care. Two palliative care rooms available to provide a comforting environment for patients and their families in the end stages of life.
