Overview of programs and Services:

Hospice Care Ottawa is a community-based charitable, non-profit organization. We offer palliative and end-of-life care, at no charge, to individuals and their loved ones.

At Hospice Care Ottawa we support individuals and their caregivers during their entire illness, from the time of diagnosis through to death and bereavement. Programs are provided at our hospice sites across the City of Ottawa and within the community. Delivery of services is made possible through the support of a small dedicated staff, many volunteers and generous donors.

Community Hospice Care programs include Day Hospice, In-Home Support and Caregiver and Bereavement Supports.

The May Court Hospice has nine residential hospice care beds where we provide round the clock care for people at the end-of-life, in a home-like and peaceful setting.

Referrals to our community based hospice programs can be made by anyone. Please contact 613-680-0306

Day Hospice is a weekly day out in a comfortable, friendly and home-like environment. Delicious food is served and there are a variety of activities that can include art, complementary therapies, music and more. Camaraderie and laughter are some of the reasons Day Hospice is so popular.
