HRPA achieves Canadian Compassionate Company (CCC) designation

Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA)’s Champion’s Council is pleased to announce that the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) has been designated a Canadian Compassionate Company (CCC). With HR policies formally committed to supporting their employees in times of family distress, HRPA has qualified as a CCC.

Canadian Compassionate Companies (CCC) is a designation for Canadian employers who support their employees who have taken on the vital role of caring for a seriously ill loved one. Employers have an important role to play in supporting their employees who have taken on this role, and the Champion’s Council is delighted that HRPA meets the criteria.

Russell Williams, longtime member and Chair of CHPCA’s Champion’s Council expressed his congratulations to HRPA: “As a large professional Human Resources organization, having the HRPA achieve this designation is an important indication that employers across Canada are beginning to take the care of their employees and their loved ones seriously.”

More information on the Canadian Compassionate Company (CCC) designation is available on CHPCA’s website at www.chpca.net.

Formed in 2010, the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA)’s Champion’s Council is comprised of a group of key leaders in Canada who have offered to advance the profile of hospice palliative care across the country.
