Casey House is a specialty HIV/AIDS hospital with community programs including home nursing care and outreach. Founded in 1988, it was the first freestanding HIV/AIDS facility in Canada. Our commitment is to provide compassionate health care for people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS, in collaboration with our communities.
The inpatient unit features fourteen private rooms and a team of nurses, doctors, a clinical pharmacist, and allied health professionals, including social workers and mental health therapists. Together, the interdisciplinary team provides 24 hour sub-acute care for illnesses and infection, stabilization, mental health and addictions, respite and palliative needs.
