May 2–8, 2021

Let’s shine a light on the people and issues that matter most!

May 2nd to 8th, 2021 marks Hospice Palliative Care Week. It is time to celebrate and share the achievements of Hospice Palliative Care throughout the nation. This year, CHPCA will be taking a moment to memorialize those who have passed, as well as appreciate those who have made this hard year a little brighter by shining a light on those who matter to us most.

CHPCA has created a downloadable poster to encourage Canadians to shine a light on those who matter most. In addition, CHPCA is bringing hospice palliative care issues to light with the help of their 2019–2022 Strategic Plan. CHPCA has created a downloadable poster and a letter writing toolkit for all Canadians to join them in writing a letter to a Member of Parliament in order to bring hospice palliative care issues to light.

To continue the conversation online, social media users are invited to join together virtually on May 7th from 7–8 PM to shine a light on those who matter most and share with CHPCA’s community over Facebook (CanadianHospicePalliativeCare) and Twitter (@CanadianHPCAssn).
