2021 Poster Awards

The Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association was pleased to highlight its second biennial poster awards in recognition of scientific contributions submitted in posters during this year’s conference, The Road Ahead – Staying the Course. Two awards—one for best poster and another for best trainee poster—were presented, recognizing the research impact made in the field of hospice palliative care in Canada. The awards were presented by Dr. Christopher Klinger on October 22nd, during the CHPCA’s first virtual conference. Dr. Klinger and the scientific team assembled during the conference to judge the poster submissions and determine this year’s recipients in both categories. The award for this year’s Best Trainee Poster went to Martin Roberge and Alexandra Guité-Verret for their submission: Palliative and end-of-life care meets the Quebec population: protocol for a collaborative scientific popularization project. The award for Best Poster was given to Dr. Sarah Lord and Team for the submission: IMPACT: Early Lessons from the Toronto Perinatal Palliative Care Pilot.

Congratulations to all recipients and thank you to Dr. Christopher Klinger and the judging panel for their collaboration and involvement in this year’s awards.
